Defence Minister Hosted Madeleine Moon at JTEC
Minister of Defence of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili hosted the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Madeleine Moon at the NATO-Georgia Joint Trainings and Evaluation Center (JTEC).
Defence Minister thanked Madeleine Moon for the unwavering support of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly for Georgia’s membership in the North Atlantic Alliance which has been duly reflected in a number of NATO PA’s resolutions and recommendations.
The commander of NATO-Georgia Joint Trainings and Evaluation Center, Colonel Giorgi Dumbadze held a presentation about three years of works of JTEC, which was positively evaluated by the guests. They emphasized the speed of development of the center and the success of NATO-Georgia Exercises, which was held in 2016 - 2019 years.
The President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Madeleine Moon highlighted the high standards within the Georgian Defence Forces, examples of service in international missions and declared that what had been demonstrated in JTEC is not just a case of service and a commitment to a country but a commitment across the NATO family.
